Dr. Francisco Wolberg began his medical studies in the city of Monterrey at the Autonomous University of Nuevo León to later carry out his training in General Surgery at the Christus Muguerza Hospital. Afterwards, he did a sub-specialty in Aesthetic and Reconstructive Plastic Surgery at the Jalisciense Institute of Reconstructive Surgery in Guadalajara, Jalisco where he was mentored by Dr. José Guerrerosantos, a world-renowned pioneer of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
Dr. Francisco Wolberg was appointed Chief of Residents at the IJCR and completed his studies with the highest honors.
Later he did postgraduate studies at various universities abroad starting at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland with Dr. Paul Manson continuing at the Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital in New York with Dr. Alan Matarasso, and later being at the Shriners Burns Hospital in Galveston, Texas with Dr. David Herdon.
Dr. Wolberg is certified by the Mexican Association of Plastic Surgery and regularly attends the congresses of the ASPS (American Society of Plastic Surgery), the ASAPS (American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery), the ISAPS (International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery) and the International Congress of Plastic Surgery of the IJCR.
